Zero tolerance

We take seriously any threatening, abusive or violent behaviour against any of our staff or patients.

If a patient is violent or abusive, they will be warned to stop their behaviour. If they persist, we may exercise our right to take action to have them removed, immediately if necessary, from our list of patients. We also reserve the right, if necessary, to involve the police.

NHS staff must be able to come to work without fear of violence, abuse or harassment from patients or their relatives. The NHS has a zero tolerance attitude towards violence.

Violent, threatening or abusive behaviour including shouting and swearing will not be tolerated at this practice.

Our staff are here to help you, please treat them with respect.
